The Last Supper - My representation

This is my representation for "The last supper" because it represents how sacred is my house to me and my family, because there is where all my secrets can go out, where I can be free, no worries about beeing myself.

I like because, including what I just said, gives us strength, gives us life, energy, health and a lot of things more, and all of this things, are the things that Jesus Christ gave us with his sacrifice and pain.

I think that the idea of this picture and the intention of Leonardo DaVinci is very similar, because both of them are providing food, basic element for life because it prevents you for hunger and represent the great body of Christ, both are providing wine, which in this case is the blood of Christ and prevents you for thirstiness. In this picture we could fine lots of similarities with "The last supper" because its base is the same, but expressed in a different way.

The Last Supper

"The last supper" this is a very famous painting, some people say that this is DaVinci's master piece, some say that is just beautiful and that represents an incredible event in the religious history.

The painting is located on the back wall of the dining hall at the Dominican convent of Sta Maria delle Grazie in Italy. It was painted between 1495-1498.

This painting is about Jesus Christ with his disciples, in this night, Jesus said that one of them was going to betray him. Judas.

This painting is very expressive, according to Sartre, this is art. This is art because it evokes lots of feelings, it can make you feel happy, feel mysterious, feel amazed, this painting is one of the most beautiful someone can see. The painting can transmit the passion of the biblical act, when the holy grial

Now, according to Ingarden, it's art too, because Leonardo DaVinci must have felt puzzled, mysterious, sad, happy, amazed, all the feelings you could think about, because this part of the history of religion is one of the most important ones. Can you imagine how would you feel if you were there and Jesus Christ himself, told you that you were going to betray him, how would someone feel, it is a feeling that anyone could describe.

That is why I chose this painting, because no matter which point of sight you look at, it is art, because the feelings that the painting evokes, and the feelings that the author transmits in it.

I chose this painting too because the only time that the family is together is at night,at dinner, because everybody is resting, it is the time that everybody is waiting for, to rest, to see their family, to talk about their days, and how are their lifes going.

A curious information is that Judas is the only one apostle of color, and Judas was the apostle who betrayed him.
